Can't boot into windows due to uefi bootloader

When I installed Linux I ignorantly choose a option that installed the grub bootloader onto my windows hard drive, at least I think that is what I've done. Now I can't boot into windows via the uefi boot option nor the legacy boot option. When I try both options I end up in "rescue grub" mode. Is it possible to change back from uefi to bios? I should mention that Linux and windows are installed on separate hard drives.
Thank in advance!
