Hi i have the ryzen 1600 x at 3.9ghz,ram 16gb 2400mhz and gtx 1080 g1. Sould i upgrade cpu or ram with faster speed like 3600mhz?
The ram abd beter cpu about same price

you are already basically maxed out on what your system can handle without upgrading completely you will see diminishing returns


if you are lucky ryzen 2 will be good

No point in getting DDR4-3600MHz rams since the best Ryzen can handle is 3200MHz. I'd suggest a dual channel DDR4-3200MHz kit. Prior to your upgrade, make sure you're on the latest BIOS for your motherboard. Speaking of which, you didn't mention the make and model of your motherboard nor of your PSU.
