Gigabyte GA-H97N Wifi stuck in "UEFI DualBios" Loop

The PC turns on & shows the initial Gigabyte boot screen, then a few seconds later it switches to a blue screen that says "Gigabyte UEFI Dual Bios" at the top... then the PC restarts and continues to do this until I force shut down the PC

What I've tried:
kill power completely & disconnect CMOS battery
different keyboards in different USB ports
reseating components
the 'power cycle' fix that worked in this thread: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2834565/computer-shows-gigabyte-uefi-dual-boot-blue-screen-reboots-constantly.html

update: I tried shorting M_BIOS pins 1 & 6 - still did not work

I would just go buy another board locally, but they don't carry 1150 in stores anymore.

Since I couldn't get it to work, I ended up buying a used motherboard off of craigslist. Didn't realize there's a couple of bent pins. Will wait until sun up and try to fix. In the meantime... if anyone has any ideas about the topic issue, please let me know.

thank you
