Hey everyone, I’m building a new pc and I’ve decided to get the Pure Rock Slim based on its low profile design and its aesthetics. What I was really wondering is, do I need to get an aftermarket bracket with it? I decided not to get the Hyper 212 EVO from CoolerMaster for this reason... If anyone could help me with this that would be awesome thanks.

Also on a side note, my CPU came with some watermark looking stains on it... should I be worried or should I just clean it off?

The cooler is stated to support AM4 socket out of the box. You're only going to need the retention clip from the accessories bag. You should be good to go!

Regarding your CPU's stains, best you pass on pics of the culprit.

Pure rock slim,uses the stock amd mounting bracket so takes about 5 seconds to fit.

My honest opinion though ?

A 2600 + the pure rock costs the same as a 2600x.

The 2600x comes with the full size wrath spire, I'd personally take the 2600x & use the stock cooler.
