GPU usage fluctuating with FPS drops?

While playing BF1 I notice sometimes my GPU usage dips extremely low and I lose a couple of FPS. I average around 120, usually in between 100 and 140. I’ve had some dips into the 70 and 90s is this normal?

GPU: RX 580 4GB

CPU: Ryzen 7 1800X

In what sort of scenarios do you experience the dips? If it's consistent and driver uninstallation and reinstallation(with the latest revision) doesn't change it then it's to do with in-game details and your resolution.

Can you list your specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

Also list your ambient room temps and if your case has optimal airflow. On a side note, if you have any BIOS updates pending for your motherboard, perform them and see if you see any difference.
