Hello,
I'm new to the hardware scene and trying to add wifi/bluetooth connectivity to my Cyperpower Desktop. My computer has a ga-78lmt-s2 motherboard. Using the mother board's documentation I have confirmed that there is an open PCIe slot on my computer. The issue I have is that the computer dual boots Windows 10 and Ubuntu 16.04, and I have read that using a bluetooth dongle on a dual boot computer can be troublesome. Would using the open PCIe slot be a better solution for my problem? I found this adapter which claims to support both Windows 10 and Linux:
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320333&cm_re=wifi_bluetooth_adapter-_-33-320-333-_-Product
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I'm very knew to this and really don't want to start out my computer building experience with the wrong part!
Thanks
