Do i need to change my cpu?

Hello,
I am thinking upgrade my gtx770 to RTX 2080 or 2070. My cpu is i5-4670k. Will it hold those GPU performance back? btw my monitor is 1080p gsync 144hz.

Maybe some bottle necking, but the i5 will still hold up. If you want to get the full potential of the GPU, I would get an i7 with the same socket size. An i7-5xxx and up should be more than enough.
