Hey so I was about to go buy a Corsair RM750x and I found out I had an offer for a really good price for the 850x and that is completely within my budget so I'm thinking I'll go for that just as a future-proofing measure.

So I have a recently-bought 1100va UPS from APC which is rated to support upto 660W of PSU usage.

I'm wondering will I have a problem with this? I know that just because the PSU has a max output capacity of 850W does not mean it will be drawing that much (higher than that actually, depending on efficiency) from the wall all the time, so I guess I should be good? I've looked up the power usage for the upgrades I'm planning to do to my rig and the power usage was below 600W (which even my existing 650W Antec PSU can handle).

This is what my rig would look like once I'm done:

i7-4790K
Corsair H80i cooling
MSI Z97 Gaming 7 mobo
MSI GTX 1080Ti Gaming X
Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3-1866 (2x8)
Corsair RM850x PSU
2 x 7.2k RPM HDDs
1 x SSD running Windows
1 x 24 inch LED monitor

The 1080Ti and the PSU are the new bits I'm bringing in, rest of the stuff I have been using for about 2.5 years now.

Do I understand the power usage/capacity thing right? I don't have SLI or anything so I definitely won't be using all 850W of PSU maximum output, under ideal conditions, usage should be below the 660W which my UPS is rated to provide, and is unlikely to ever go much higher than that, even if some conditions do present themselves.

So am I good?
