New Rig;Need help

Hi All,

Anticipating the RTX 2070, could you please help me in choosing the best hardwares/components to go along with it? Budget is $1300. I don't mind dishing out a few more bucks if the need arises.

$1300 usd or other currency? Also, are you going for a new build or are you going for a new cpu to go with it or whatever?

Hi! It's USD and it's for a new build. A quick search on Google shows that a new rtx 2070 could cost around $600. With that in mind, I still have $700 to spend but I'm not really an expert when it comes to building so I always ask for an opinion from the good people here before buying.

pc parts picker is the greatest site. you pick something and it shows you what's compatible, so start with the processor, grab a mobo, mem, etc..

I really don't think that an rtx 2070 will fit inside a budget of $1300 usd. It should be at least around $2000 to have a good rtx 2070 build.

the stuff the link leads to above is only $883.77

so, he could just throw in a case and his video card... that's close. if he gets a card for 650 that's 1533.77

lol, but more is more, 700 is pretty low, maybe if he could bump it up 300
