Hey guys, I bought a wireless router for my family, as I was using Ethernet for a long time, but now when I connect my asus rt-n12e 300mbps wireless router, My internet download drops to ~10% whereas my upload is relatively stays the same

Direct ethernet= 100mbps/7 upload
Ethernet via new router= 9mbps/7 upload

I have no idea whats going on, my download is getting destroyed, no packet lost, everything is fine. Do i need to change any options in the router?

Solution
Did you buy that router new?
Check if there is any firmware update from the manufacturer, since it could be a bug.
Also, check the devices connecting to the router. If you have an old 802.11b device connecting to the router then the maximum speed will be 11Mbps, if you have 802.11g it will be 54Mbps.
If all devices supports connected to the router support 802.11n then it could reach up to 300Mbps.

Yea, my bad, the drop is 90%, any solutions? I mean Im still using ethernet and the wireless router is nothing but ''the middle man''. Same goes to wifi, the download is also the same as my ethernet
I hope you get me what i want to say

It could be slower because of signal issues when far away from the router or when other devices (cordless phones, other WiFi routers, microwave ovens, etc.) interfere with the WiFi signal, specifically the 2.4Ghz frequency.
You could check from your laptop how many other WiFi routers are listed.
If your devices support it try the 5Ghz frequency band, which less congested.

How far are you from the WiFi router?

The signal is great, and the router is literally infront of me (less than a feet)

every connected device shows the same download speed, I think that the router is somehow throttling download speed.
