Hello,

I always resort to TomsHardware when I need an expert advice :"D

Just a quickie;

I have the following components:

Motherboard (DDR2): Acer Veriton M41G
Processor: AMD Athlon (tm)II x2 250 3~ GHz.
Power supply: FSP-300/60 EP Bronze, 300 WATT

I purchased a AFox GeForce G210 1 GB DDR3 and didn't like the performance, suitable for videos only, apparently.

Now I'm considering a MSI GeForce GT 710 2GB DDR3 Graphics Card.

I'm not a vivid gamer, but I want something for online games like Guilds War 2.

What's your opinion?

Thanks in advance!

You're not going to like the performance of the GT710 either. It's essentially a newer version of the GT210. Sure there will be some performance improvements, but if you're looking at a low-cost, entry-level card for minimal games, then you're going to want something like the GT730.

The last two digits of the NVidia Geforce card's model number tell you the performance level.

"10" - Basic, On-board replacement.
"20", "30", "40" - Entry Level, minor gaming.
"50", "60", "70" - Mainstream, moderate gaming.
"80", "90" - Enthusiast, high-end gaming.
