I overfilled my cpu with thermal paste and it spill over my motherboard. So far the fans ram and mother board are working as the lights turn on whenever I turn the pc on. I’m just wondering if there may have or may develop issues with the cpu?

Solution
Rest of specs?

Ram-
GPU-
PSU-

Thermal paste shouldnt cause shorts around socket since if there are no caps or small chips it wont harm anyting, except it went under the socket, which is really, really painfull to get out, but I can suggest what I've done to my Asus Maximus which I got from the dead.

Have you tried other PCIE slot for GPU or other ram slot?

I tried to remove the cpu and I could not remove it as it is like glued on to the motherboard. This was my first time building my pc and I already messed up.
