Hello there! I have just bought a GALAX (KFA2) GTX 1080 EXOC SNPR WHITE and have just sadly discovered that the GPU's backplate hit my mobo's (Gigabyte B360M D3H) ram clips, thus preventing the gpu to be properly seated into the pcie slot. I've tried connecting it to the x4 pcie, but now the gpu hits the front panel connectors this time.
I am now considering replacing my mobo with an ROG Strix B360-H or an Aorus B360 Gaming 3 mobo. I don't want a Z mobo because I use a locked procie and dimms. Any other suggestions for motherboards with good backplate clearance on the ram clips?
