Constant Crashing within Higher End Games

So I built my first computer about a month ago and I was expiereince no problems with it at first. Everything still works fine except for more higher end games. For example Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Assassins Creed Odyssey. Every time I play these games they crash within 30 minutes at most. I don’t know if it is a hardware issue or something along the lines of that, if it is a steam issue or a driver issue. My gpu temps get up to around 66 when it crashes, but I have a gtx1080ti. I can play these games at the lowest settings, but once again with a 1080ti I feel like that shouldn’t happen. But I’m still new to this whole thing. When it crashes, if I get a notification that tells me what went wrong, it’s connected to video driver but every time I check it is up to date and talking to my friends they aren’t experiencing driver issues with nvidia. Please help.

I haven’t uninstalled the previous ones manually but I upgrade to the newest one through GeForce experience so I don’t know if that does it by itself.
