Hi,

Yestarday i bought a brand new msi h270 gaming m3 from a pc store from my city. they made the warranty on my name and everything and then i went home. i want to mention that they gave me the motherboard from the shelf not from the back where they keep the stock.

I arrived home and i saw that it was without static bag, simply just inside the mobo box and moreover it didn't have CPU Cover! But the cables and guide were sealed in a plastic bag each of them individual. I checked the cpu soket pins to see if they are bend but i couldn't find anything, they look alright.

What i don't like is why it came without cpu cover, should i return it at my store and ask for a new one or a full refund?

PS: I haven't tested the motherboard if works yet because it kinda disappointed me that i came without cpu cover.

Please let me know because i don't know what to do, thanks!

Solution
I would guess that is probably an Open Box (returned ) motherboard.. If it was sold as new I would return it for a new one.

If it was returned, it may have a problem. The only reason it didn't have a socket cover and anti-static bag is that it has been installed.

I agree, i keep them anyway even if i don't have to send them in service, yestarday i was told that they have no more h270 on stock, they'll give me the z270 as a replacement without no additional costs which is more than enough, even h270 was more than enough :)

Thanks!
