So I build my system just with a 240gb ssd and installed windows and apps in it. Now I have to buy hdd for games instalation and I was wondering if I can buy a ssd and hdd and use it as one drive using storemi for storage and game installs and the ssd which I already have leave as it is now.
Help, anyone?

Solution
Right.
It shuffles data around, so that the most used blocks end up in the fast SSD drive. Sort of like an SSHD.
"...automatically moves the data you access the most to the SSD..."

If you want to remove one of them, or the drive dies...pain.
I'd rather just get a larger SSD, install my current games to that, and press on.

I wouldn't.
I'd just choose myself where things should go.

With Steam, it is easy to designate other locations. Directly in the Steam client.
Steam games location
In the steam client:
Steam
Settings
Downloads
Steam Library Folders
Add library folder

To move an already installed game
Games library
Right click the game
Properties
Local Files
Move Install Folder

If not considering steam. Just in general I'm saying game loading time is lesser with storemi compared to hdd so I want to use storemi with one 1tb with 120gb ssd as one drive and don't wanna install any game on ssd which I already have nor do I want to move anything from it. Keeping it separate for windows and few apps.
