Hi there,

Im receiving an error when I right click on My Computer, and hit
explore. I also receive this error when I right click on Start, and
select explore.

"Cannot find the file 'null' (or one of its components). Make sure
the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are
available"

Explorer still opens, but I receive this error message every time.

Environment
- Windows 2000 server (SP4, all the latest security patches)
- Terminal Server installed
- Citrix XPe Installed

Any ideas what the problem may be?

Well the registry setting has been corrupted. It uses DDE and when that gets changed you get what you are experiencing. Find the CLSID for My Computer then look at the Explore command key and see if there are ddx subkeys. If not in the CLSID then you will need to look at HKCR\folders and \files

Very helpful! Found the folder key under HKCR wasn't configured
correctly. I took the settings from one of our other Citrix servers
and applied it to the registry on this server and it worked.

Thanks.
