Whenever i startup WinXP I receive "The service database is locked" message. Then I go into the event viewer, I have 2 errors: DCOM error "The service database is locked" for netman... and the same message for another service.
What cause this problem? Please help!!! Thanks!!!

thanks. I found out what caused the DCOM error. It turned out that some startup exe files of my creative audigy 2 card had conflict with the netman and another services. I disabled the discdet.exe and cthelp.exe. And the DCOM error gone away.
