Enough power? Cross Fire 7870, fx-8350 overclock

680w apevia PSU bought in 2010 September

Bringing my 680w PSU 46amps from my old gaming rig only has 2x6pin connectors
a few questions

1. If I cross fire with this are the 6pin to 2x8pin converters safe?
2. How much OC room does this leave me on cpu and graphics card side? I see alot of oc guides for 4.5ghz on the cpu or 5ghz
3. If reccomend to upgrade psu which ones should I shoot for? I'm looking to use this for gaming and as my vm server, machine would usually only be on for 6-8 hours a day, some times for a day or two if I get into my vm work heavily.

It has enough power, but it only has two PCIe power leads and you need four to XFire 7870s. You could use molex to PCIe adapter cables and I think you'd still be ok power-wsie, but I'm not familiar with that particular PSU and what 12V cables are attached to which rail.
