What's a gigawatt?
Yesterday, November 22 marked the 20th anniversary of the release of Back to the Future II – the movie that told us that we'd have flying cars, self-drying jackets and hoverboards by 2015.
I celebrated the event by re-watching the movie in its open matte format pillarboxed on my widescreen display, which just made me wish that I had my own DeLorean time machine.
Thanks to a new mod for Crysis, I'm able to realize my dream virtually. Peep the video embedded below.
Click here for the 18 MB mod that'll work with Crysis and Crysis Wars.

Great Scott!
I really hope I can buy Uranium from street vender by 2039 thought I doubt it. Lifestyle really hasn’t change much since 1985 beside Facebook, Tweeter and other distractions.
damn, that's too awesome for words... I'm speechless. The movies were a little before my time but I've been a huge fan of the trilogy my whole life. too bad I don't play crysis.
Alright, that was really cool.
It can't fly?
That is wicked .. and very well done.
It PLAYED Crysis!
That has got to be one of the coolest mods I've ever seen. I will definitely be picking up a copy of Crysis once I upgrade my PC
1.21 Jiggawatts?!
that looks hot!@

We won't need uranium. All cars will be powered by "Mr. Fusion".
Isn't it pronounced "jigga" watt
Seriously though, of all the things to get wrong in the movie..
That is awesome. Now I want Crysis.
Great movies (all three).
woo, heavy.
(I really hope someone will get the reference, or I'll feel real old).
that is an awesome mod. enough said.
Wow... seriously, that mod rock...
I'm reinstalling this game just so I could play with this mod over and over again
Thats stupid everybody knows a flux capacitor needs to go 88 mph to go back in time he was going around 50-60 by the way the need a doc costume...
Yup. That was pretty bad ass!
It's Jigawatt, not Gigawatt.
Congrats to the modder! Excellent work!....now I need to buy a video card so I can actually play crysis (my gf found a copy of it at her college, just cant play it due to onboard video
)
it would be nice if you could get back to the present just in time to see you leaving to the past =(
So awesome
OMG! that was amazing. downloading >: )
I laughed so hard! Not because it was funny but because I've never seen anything so awesome put in a game! xD Dude I love what was shown at the end It'd confuse someone in a tank real good if you hopped out and the car was suddenly gone.
why do you keep saying heavy? Is there something wrong with the earths gravitational field in the future?
That.. is AMAZING!
One of my favorite movies.. wow.. love it.
Okay, now we need a mod that plays the theme song to Back to the Future every time it time travels.
Now that is the shit.
WOW, that's all i can say. thats just great. 1.21 GIGAWATTS of power!!!
