Paper: Dell PC contract makers begin developing AMD solutions
Next newsDell's major contract makers for PCs - Foxconn Electronics, Asustek Computer, and Quanta Computer - have begun developing PC products supporting the Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) platform, according to the Chinese-language Economic Daily News today, citing industry sources. Foxconn is currently producing AMD-based servers for Dell, the paper indicated, adding that Asustek is developing motherboards for the AMD platform.
