HTC One Successor Rumored

One of the tech world's most reliable leak sources suggests that there will be a successor to the very popular HTC One early next year. Apparently, it will also be running Android 4.4 KitKat when it launches.

Other rumors suggest the new phone will come with 3 GB of RAM, a 5-inch 1080p display and the seemingly omnipresent Snapdragon 800. It's also expected to maintain the One's signature metal casing.

Expect the phone for all four carriers to be available in the first few months of 2014.

Looks fake, too much like their older phones, also did everyone basically do away with the search button on the bottom right?

If they keep their 4.+ micron pixel sensor camera at higher resolution (8 mpx), they gonna be a serious camera phone. However, their optics have always been sub par...

Why would Toms take an article and put up a fake image of a fan made phone?!
If it is a new HTC One then it should still have the dual stereo front facing speakers.

Hopefully HTC wakes up and include the MicroSD card slot. They keep leaving it out on all their flagship phones. It is the only missing feature. Samsung includes this feature.

And Sense5 sucks!!! When i tested out the HTC One on verizon i hated it. Putting a clock in my app drawer? What were they thinking!

I still love my HTC OneVX though.

I hope it's not what is pictured because that is way uglier than the current model. Also, it wouldn't make sense to use even a Snapdragon 800 if they are serious about being cutting edge. It would be better to wait for next gen so it's ahead of the curve, not just on it.

I love my HTC One but that is the one thing that it lacks that I wish it had. Otherwise it's a great phone. Can't wait to see the next generation of it.

Damn just read about the SnapDragon 805, now that would be sweet for the M8. Hopefully HTC ship it quickly this time unlike the One debacle.

Add an SD slot, and lose the physical buttons and this will be my dream phone.
