TV demand cuts availability of LCD materials
Booming sales of large-size panels for large-size TVs are exacerbating supply constraints for materials and components used in the manufacturing of LCDs, including glass substrates, color filters (CFs) and cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFLs). TV requires the largest panels of all major LCD applications.
