U-Tech Media, the largest producer of pre-recorded discs in Taiwan, is preparing to produce, both HD-DVD and Blu-ray movie discs, with volume production to begin in the first half of next year, according to the company. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment recently stated that it has completed production of the world's first Blu-ray pre-recorded movie "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle," with the movie disc to be launched next month.
