What sets this card apart from the competition is that both tuners can be used simultaneously, which is not possible on a conventional dual-standard card. The MYC-PE9300Dual Hybrid possesses a hardware MPEG-2 encoder, greatly reducing CPU load when analog TV shows are recorded. Using the bundled software, the recorded shows can be burned to disc later. ASUS promises an especially good signal-to-noise ratio for analog TV on this model. The tuner card ships with a remote control.
