If you’re picking up one of the latest 11th Gen Intel Core processors, then you’re going to want a capable motherboard that will let you make the most of that CPU. Whether you go for a top-of-the-line Core i9-11900K with a 5.3GHz turbo or more a modest Core i5, MSI has a host of new motherboards offering the Z590 chipset to let you make the most of your powerful new chip, pack in high-speed RAM, and deliver the latest in PC performance and capabilities.

With the latest processor and MSI’s Z590 motherboards, you won’t miss out on the latest connectivity. Across the entire lineup, MSI’s Z590 motherboards will include PCIe 4.0 connectivity to deliver 2GB/s of data transfer speeds per lane, double that of PCIe 3.0. That bandwidth can come into play in a large way with the latest graphics cards and especially with newer M.2 SSDs.

MSI isn’t just beefing up the speeds for devices connected to the inside of your computer but also to those connected to the outside. Every single one of these Z590 motherboards from MSI will feature USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 ports (dubbed Lightning USB 20G) with transfer speeds up to 20Gbps over USB-C. For even faster speeds, the MSI MEG series motherboards will include Thunderbolt 4 and USB 4.0-compliant ports for an even higher 40Gbps throughput to peripherals, like external storage or 8K displays.

Of course, whether you’re gaming or working, you also need an internet connection you can rely on. MSI has prepared its motherboards for the latest in networking. All of MSI’s Z590 Wi-Fi motherboards will include at least one 2.5Gbps LAN port as well as Wi-Fi 6E. That’s not only delivering the higher-end Wi-Fi 6 capabilities, but as the “E” indicates”, it’s also bringing support for the new 6GHz band coming to Wi-Fi networks for the fastest wireless speeds.

MSI’s motherboards will have a focus on quality as well. You’ll find all of them offering at least 6-layer PCBs with 2oz thickened copper, while some models bump up to 8 or even 10 layers. You’ll also find capable VRM power designs. And, MSI offers a range of stylish color schemes – say goodbye to that old-school appearance.

MSI has introduced Z590 motherboards across its range from the high-end MEG to the MPG, MAG and PRO series models. With MSI’s Z590 motherboards, you’ll be ready to build a high-end PC from scratch or upgrade your current rig.

MSI’s MEG line-up will deliver the highest-end capabilities for extreme performance.  This series includes the MSI MEG Z590 Godlike, which not only offers incredible capabilities but also comes with the M.2 XPANDER-Z GEN4 S PCI-Express card so you can load up on extra-fast M.2 SSDs and keep them running cool. The MEG Z590 ACE can stay cool under pressure with a VRM heatsink, heat pipe, and thermal pads that extend to the IO port for solid thermal management. And, all of the MEG Series motherboards offer Wi-Fi 6E, while all of the ATX MEG models include four M.2 slots. Thunderbolt 4 and Audio Boost 5 HD are also exclusive to the MEG Series. So, be sure to check out the MEG Z590 Godlike, MEG Z590 UNIFY, and MEG Z590I UNIFY.

The MPG Series also offers tons of capabilities for gamers and style to match. The MPG Z590 Gaming Force offers an unorthodox color scheme boasting metallic purple and gold heatsinks built on a black PCB. It doesn’t sacrifice substance for style either, as it includes a 16-phase power delivery and dual 8-pin connectors to keep your CPU fully juiced while a two-digit LED debugger can help you troubleshoot as you push your overlocks further and further. Like the MPG Z590 Gaming Force, the MPG Z590 Gaming Carbon WIFI includes 16 Duet Rail Power with 75A SPS for strong power delivery. And, all of the MSI MPG ATX-size motherboards include high-speed Lightning USB 20G as well as three M.2 slots with M.2 Shield Frozr heatsinks.

And, you can build a rig that’s ready for work and play with the PRO Series. Be sure to check out the Z590-A Pro or Z590 PRO WIFI.

Of course, it’s not just the latest and greatest CPUs you need to worry about supporting. For a powerful gaming rig, you’ll want to be sure your graphics card has room to stretch its legs. Support for Resizable BAR is one way to help that along. Fortunately all of these MSI motherboards as well as all MSI 400- and 300-Series motherboards have released BIOS updates to enable Resizable Bar support, so cards like the RTX 3060 won’t get held back.
