Yes same graphics and gameplay, those days are gone when this was quite new to us but now we have better multiplayer games that feels more mature and good to play.

Have you played COD? It's like Search and Destroy. If you haven't, then there's two team; terrorist(Ts) and counter-terrorists(CTs). The Ts must plant the bomb in the bombsite A or B, the counter-terrorists must defend. On other maps, the Ts must defend hostages and the CTs must save them.
Yay can't wait to play a game that my computer could've handled 4 years ago.

Also, alot of people, even a few who've posted don't understand the game. CS is not about graphics, innovation, or new concepts. It's about strategy, gameplay, and skill. It's one of the few games that rely on such things. Another example would be the quake series.

I watched 30 secs and could tell it was a different game. Y'all have obviously not played much cs:s. They try very hard not to change the core game. Why change the most popular game on Steam? Looks great can't wait to get some headshots with my deagle.

This was made and designed for competitive play, it has to be the same maps, its not the same graphics actually cause its different textures, but yes the engine is the same. You don't know anything, don't speak.

Actually, CSGO's real purpose is to introduce Counter-Strike on consoles. Valve couldn't re-release CSS on the Xbox360/PS3/Wii(Yes, I believe Wii can run CSS) as it has already lost its value since it's an already old game and new players could not appreciate the graphics of the old one (even the very old GoldSrc one) since there's CoD and Battlefield.
Tell me if I'm wrong... Did Valve release CSS on consoles? Wikipedia says they have not. They don't want to leave the PC community with an outdated version of Counter-Strike (Just like Crytek did with Crysis 1 for consoles) so they decided to go multi-platform.
AS much as I hate rehashes of a franchise but I gotta admit the gameplay looks rather interesting and very alike as cs 1.6 which i love dearly and still play regularly.

This is partly what people's points are. Since its all about the maps and gameplay and since a lot of people still play CSS, it makes no sense to release a new game unless they made a decent amount of changes.

Wow I was excited about a new cs but now I'm not interested. There's nothing new in this. Tarting up old maps is hardly new.
