PS3 opens gateway for a variety of memory card standards
Next newsSony has opened the gateway for multiple memory card standards for its upcoming PS3 since the game-console maker now regards PS3 as a portable multimedia center, rather than just a game console, industry players commented. The new PS3 game console will support Sony's own-developed memory cards, the MemoryDuo/Pro, as well as Compact Flash (CF) and Secure Digital (SD) cards, according to the released specification.
