John McAfee Makes Crazy Video On Removing McAfee
Everyone's favourite eccentric millionaire wants to help you uninstall McAfee.
Last we heard, John McAfee had sold the rights to make the movie based on his life. Now it seems McAfee is dabbling in a bit of film-making by himself. The 66-year-old founder of McAfee sold off his shares in his company after it went public in the 90s. Over the last year or so, he's found himself the subject of some pretty nuts headlines. He was arrested in Guatemala in December of last year having been on the run since November (he was accused of murder). Now it seems he's trying his hand at a bit of tech support for McAfee users.
McAfee explains in a video posted to YouTube that though he hasn't been involved with the company for a very long time, he still gets a lot of mail from folks trying to figure out how to uninstall McAfee. The video is definitely weird. It does explain how to uninstall McAfee, there just also a lot of swearing, scantily clad girls, bath salts, and guns. Needless to say, it's not exactly family viewing. I love this man. I don't care if he murdered someone anymore, though I strangely now find it entirely plausible, and, indeed, likely.
Well done, John. -
kawininjazx I am still pissed on him, I can't remove McAfee off my Windows 95 computer, I haven't been able to dial into CompuServ for 15 years thanks to him.Reply -
back_by_demand I love this guy, on my list of nut-job whack-balls in the IT business he is definately in the top 5, alongside Assange, Woz, Ellison and Torvalds - they should form a band, McAfee would be the drummerReply
