Mozilla releases Thunderbird 1.5 final
Mozilla today released the download of its email client Thunderbird 1.5. According to the developers, the update culminates a year of feedback from readers and now integrates an automated update feature, greater spam control, a built-in phishing detector, improved support for RSS and podcasting as well as a real-time spell-checker.
Originally launched in December 2004, Thunderbird so far has attracted for than 18 million downloads so far, Mozilla said. The software can be downloaded here.
