Jensen Huang, chief executive of Nvidia, stated that his company had not been approached to participate in a group effort to acquire a stake in a company that would operate Intel's foundry unit. He dismissed claims that Nvidia was working with industry peers and TSMC on such a deal at a press conference at GTC, reports Reuters

Separately, Paul Liu, a TSMC board member and the head of Taiwan's National Development Council, denied claims that the company is considering purchasing Intel's struggling foundry unit, reports DigiTimes.

Didn’t see one mention about all the previous articles this site has posted perpetuating these falsities. Is it so hard to admit you propagated what could be considered speculation at best and lies at worst? I mean, it didn’t seem that hard to get the answers from the sources. They can’t lie about it. They might not be obligated to report it (depending on several factors), but they can’t lie about it on the record.

Seriously though, hopefully now you’ll stop it with the trash articles based on all the he said she said nonsense. Please and thank you.

The rumors were obviously spread to weaken the U.S. stance on fabrication. To Tom's credit though, they were probably spread from a VERY high level, as in foreign competitor manipulation of media or even gov't insiders trying to bolster the administration's involvement in negotiations.

He doesn't, but Nvidia is one of extremely few companies that have the cash reserves to deliver on Intel's IFS roadmap footing the bill out of pocket without outside help.

Anton Shilov is a huge perpetuator of rumors and cheerleading Intel news. It's really low standard output.
