Intel Launches "Beacon Mountain" Android Dev Environment

Intel has launched its new "Beacon Mountain" Android Development Environment that provides support for Intel Atom and ARM based phones and tablets running Android Jellybean 4.2 and up.

The suite also incorporates a number of Intel and third-party development tools such as Intel’s Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager and Threading Building Blocks, as well as Google’s Eclipse Integrated Development Environment.

The "Beacon Mountain" Development Environment is available from Intel's website and is currently compatible with Windows 7 / 8 64-bit host environments.

Me too Vorador, me too. I know what's for breakfast.....
I am very curious to see how well Intel is able to enter the Android device market too, but not as curious about that as I am about where I am getting some bacon tomorrow.

The android emulator in Google's SDK run's horrible. I hope when emulating an X86 atom chip performance is better.
