Icaro Innovations launched an updated version of its popular DefenderPad laptop pad on Monday that promises to help protect laptop users from potentially harmful Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR).
That's right. Your favorite notebook or Ultrabook is likely dumping a nasty cloud of radiation into your lap which could potentially cause fertility problems in both men and women, and DNA fragmentation. DefenderPad supposedly blocks nearly 100 percent of that EMR. Just imagine it's that lead-based apron you're forced to wear during dental X-rays.
