Jack Bauer Makes Cupcakes, Explosions in Acer Laptop Ad

By - Source: via HuffPo UK

Jack Bauer is back ... kind of.

Commercials these days have to be pretty great to catch your eye. As a result, there are definitely some 'out there' ads being produced by companies in an effort to attract attention. Case in point: Acer's latest commercial features Kiefer Sutherland as a cupcake-obsessed Jack Bauer. We're not making this up. The ad follows Bauer as he attempts to locate the right ingredients and find the right vision for his cupcakes. The whole thing is intended to advertise Acer's new ultrabook, the Aspire S5. Of course, the laptop does feature in the advert, but we're still not really sure of the connection.

Check the video out below and let us know what you think.

And the S5 actually has a thunderbolt port, Nice cupcake! now Tom's get (1) S5 laptop And Lucid Thunderbolt External GPU or GUS II external GPU and start benchmarking! Video games and cards, 3d graphics programs (blender/maya) be sure to test Ray tracing on the CPU and see if a xeon phi co-processor can work with the Lucid and GUS II external GPU box, as it is PCI based also( should be Killer for Ray tracing, the Phi co-processor with all those X86 cores, a render farm on a pci card, maybe not so good for gaming, but for ray tracing yes!) I hope Acer has a better screen option!

Now that is what comercials are suppose to be like. It's not even Superbowl Sunday I was beggining to think that is the only time anyone can come up with good commercials.
