Following the Intel chipset shortage, recent rumors among motherboard makers indicate that supplies of the Athlon 64 3000+ and dual-core Athlon 64 X2 3800+ CPU lines from Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) are already short of demand in the Asia-Pacific region. AMD has responded that the shortage should ease in 1-2 weeks.
