Huawei's 7-inch MediaPad 7 Vogue Set for UK Release
If you thought the Xperia Z Ultra was big, wait until you get an eyeful of the Media Pad 7 Vogue.
Smartphones these days are getting bigger and bigger. Though the Galaxy Note was once considered huge, anything with a three-inch or four-inch display almost seems small at this point (indeed, the Galaxy S4 mini has a 4.3-inch display). Still, we can't help but feel the 7-inch MediaPad 7 Vogue is firmly in the tablet category, despite the fact that it makes phone calls.
Huawei describes it as "all the functionality of a tablet, smartphone, and entertainment center, in one stylish package." The Media Pad 7 Vogue packs the aforementioned 7-inch display as well as a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of on-board storage, 802.11b/g/n, 3G, and a 4100 mAh Li-Polymer battery all wrapped up inside an aluminum unibody case.
According to Crave, this device is bound for the UK, though Huawei hasn't said when we can expect the device to go on sale. Similarly, we don't know how much it will cost, but the manufacturer has assured Crave that it will be affordable. If you're in China, you'll be able to secure one of these puppies this month.
