MP3 player may become top application for OLEDs in 2006

Although handset sub displays are the current major application for OLEDs (organic light-emitting diode), MP3 players may become the top application in terms of OLED panel shipments in 2006.

Handset sub displays currently account for half of all OLED panels shipped worldwide, while MP3 players account for 45%.
