Radeon HD 7990 Pictured in CrossFireX
A new picture has surfaced which shows two HD 7990's in CrossFireX.
With all the rumors going around regarding the upcoming Radeon HD 7990, it is not surprising that something more has been created. This time around we have another picture of not one, but two of AMD's Radeon HD 7990s. The HD 7990 was announced just last month at GDC.
The image shows two Malta graphics cards in CrossFireX, making up a total of four GPUs. This is inside a liquid cooled enthusiast PC. The user who submitted the image, who goes by the nickname "repilur," turns out to be Johan Andersson, a developer of the Frostbite engine at DICE.
Rumors also indicate that the graphics card might ship with a copy of Battlefield 4 in the box. This is not surprising since AMD revealed that its HD 7990 was running the 17 minute gameplay video of Battlefield 4, which was run at a 3K resolution (3072 x 1620), at a constant 60 FPS.
If the rumors hold true, we may even see the graphics card launch some time this month, with pricing expected to be around $1,000.

hero1 When are they coming out? I am in a dilemma as to either get my Titan back or do a 680s SLI or wait and see how this performs. I just want the reviews and the official pricing on this asap. Thanks Tom's!Reply -
Ragnar-Kon One side of me is like "Ooooooo sooo purdy," but then the other side of me smacks the first side in the head as I realize there is really no purpose spend that much money to have dual HD 7990.Reply

Darn you all and your excessive expendable incomes. -
mouse24 I was about to be amazed that they put the fan upside down so I can see it... Then I realized the case/mobo was the one upside down... Yay, now we get to only see PCB or a backplate again... Why have these "gangsta" looking designs if you can only see when you put it in?Reply -
warezme $1,000 , oh well that makes all better then. Good thing it's not some outrageous price or anything.Reply -

Hando567 I wish they would stop releasing pictures and just release the actual card already, I have been holding off on a new card until this comes out. My 7870 crossfire setup isn't cutting it at 2560x1600.Reply
