F.E.A.R. 3's ''F**king Run!'' Multiplayer Mode
WBIE released a new F3AR trailer featuring the multiplayer mode called "F**king Run!"
Forget the old-school deathmatch and capture the flag. Friday Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released a freshly-baked trailer from the upcoming FPS F.E.A.R. 3 (or F3AR, take your pick) showcasing a new multiplayer mode called F**king Run!
This new mode presents an interesting concept: players must to work together to battle enemies while escaping Alma’s wall of death... wall of death meaning a huge monster cloud of ghostly faces ripped straight out of a Dean Koontz or Stephen King story, one that's intent on eating you alive.
Sounds f**king awesome.
As you'll see in the video, it's a Point A to Point B scenario. Players must get to the end of the map (extraction point) while keeping each other alive, trying not to fall prey to the enemies Alma tosses in along the way or fall behind and get caught up in the killer mist. As for the rest of the game, here's the official description that came with the new clip:
F.E.A.R. 3 is a heart-pounding paranormal first person shooter unleashing intense combat, compelling narrative and co-op play that evolves the franchise. Alma returns in F.E.A.R. 3 but this time her sons Point Man and Paxton Fettel are characters available to play in divergent co-op, giving players distinctly different abilities affecting their own play as well as the experience of their co-op partner. Gamers participate in single player or co-op modes as Point Man or as Paxton Fettel, his conniving brother whose incredible telekinetic power has given him life beyond the grave.
F3AR is hitting the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC next month. F**king hell yeah!

L4D style mechanics but with FEAR flavor : GENIUS
Yet another great game that no doubt will be destroyed by DRM...
This game looks F**king bad ass. I might have to "F**king Run" and get this when it comes out
still think this game looks like shit. fear 2 was a huge drop off from the first fear and this one looks like that trend will continue. this game mode looks kinda cool though, i'll give them that.
I think the coop campaigne will be the doom of this game, but this multiplayer mode looks badass.
Game mode is awesome. Graphics are dated though.
Typo "players must to work"
I like the FEAR games, but I swear they are using the same antiquated engine as FEAR 1 with some modifications for this new game! A few of the FEAR games were total cash-ins (like both the expansion packs) so hopefully this one will be great.
Great....A giant cloud timer with a face. I "HATE" timers...
Seems like games are going backwords...
I'm saving my money for BF3..

Thank you consoles, we will have these same graphics until what, 2014?
Not if you just pirate it
Thus encouraging ever-worsening DRM. If there was zero piracy, there would be zero DRM.

DRM also really hurts the second-hand market.

As someone with a very good long time friend who is a senior employee at Monolith, there are reasons I can't go into on why Fear 2 sucked. It was scrapped and a senior team had to come in and redo it at the last second. Fear 3 was nearly scrapped as well because it sucks so badly. Don't get your hopes up, Fear 3 is fail.
I sincerely hope there is a way for teams to kick/ban disruptive players. It would only take one a$$hat running towards the cloud every round to really ruin someone's evening.
Sadistic Developers
I think the concept is great but I really am not impressed by it's execution. It should be something with more of a horror element chasing you. That giant smoke wall just has no real fright to it. The enemies that were shown don't really have these factor either the robot reminded me of the one from RoboCop.
It's a shame too because that game mode looks like it could be so much fun.
I could see it working very well under the right conditions. It would be fantastic if all the enemies were frighting monsters and extremely deadly to encourage fleeing from them and having to make judgement calls if its a good idea to take them out now or deal with them attempting to chase you down.
Looks nice !!
******* nice !
F**king Run! from DRM!
need to make another free fear combat.
Sounds f**king awesome... ! wow really
I wonder how fast the players using crappy controllers will die. This is a no no for consoles!
F**king scrolled! In 3D
I am sorry but the grammar and spelling in your articles is becoming ridiculous... How hard is it to do a fucking spell check? I'm even doing it within my browser and you get PAID for this... It is you bread and butter so get it right. If the article is this badly represented how can anyone take the comments serious?
'This new mode presents an interesting concept: players must to work together to battle enemies while escaping Alma’s wall of death... wall of death meaning a huge monster cloud of ghostly faces ripped straight out of a Dean Koontz or Stephen King story, one that's intent on eating you alive.'
That is my example and it should NOT be taken lightly... It happens all TOO often. You make more money than most of your readers so please pay attention AND DO YOUR FUCKING JOB!!!
P.S. I like the inbuilt -1 for negative comments... The second I posted I had -1... You really are pathetic.
What game worth playing has survived the ability of pirates to crack it?
Game publishers will try their way with DRM, but they will likely not succeed, and in this process they will be: delaying and hurting a bit the game itself, just delaying a bit the pirated version afterward, and hurting a lot the legit consumer.

This article should fit perfectly for you, since you have a number of errors in your comment. After all, how hard is it to do a ******* spell check when you have a browser that does it for you?
As well, it doesn't automatically give you a thumbs down. Either you're giving yourself a negative point which means you're deprived, or someone thought you were complaining about something that was pointless.
I personally think it is pathetic that you are here correcting grammar of a article that their news bot probably pulled from another site. Seriously schizofrog get a life and stop looking for people to feed your trolling habit. If you don't have something to say related to purpose of the article then kindly zip it please.
As for FEAR 3 I am looking forward to it, multiplayer should be fun as well. I have no idea why people didn't like FEAR 2 or any of the expansions, I thought they kept the theme of the first one pretty well. Looking forward to this one as well. It would be nice if they did a update to the graphics engine but I am sure FEAR 4 will be sporting some new hotness for graphics.
I sincerely hope there is a way for teams to kick/ban disruptive players. It would only take one a$$hat running towards the cloud every round to really ruin someone's evening.
I was already thinking about this while watching the video. Run, run, run. Kill, kill, kill. Everyone has made it....about to come to the end and everyone wins.....turn around and haul butt to the wall of death.
The level of pissed off would be monumental.
