Nvidia accused of seeding forums with marketing posters
Graphic chip firm Nvidia has come under the public microscope for allegedly seeding public forums with "guerrilla marketers" whose job it was to become regular posters and then subtly promote Nvidia products.
Nvidia denies that they hired Arbuthnot Entertainment Group, whose self-stated job is "Message board monitoring and response" and "Strategic seeding viral assets to ensure they are spread far and wide", to do marketing on their behalf, claiming that they simply use the company to manage their community.
