Latest 'Dishonored 2' Trailer Shows Off Corvo's Moves

As the November 11 release date for Dishonored 2 approaches, Bethesda and Arkane Studios are keeping players interested with gameplay footage. Last month, Quakecon attendees were treated with a demo that showed off Corvo’s powers. Now, Bethesda released a new gameplay trailer that focuses on Corvo’s part in the sequel.

Just like in the first game, Corvo plays the role of the Royal Protector to the Queen, Emily Kaldwin (the other playable character in Dishonored 2). However, she is usurped by Delilah, who has powers of her own that rival both Corvo and Emily. Determined to restore Emily to the throne, Corvo uses his powers and his physical skills to take down anyone that stands in his way. However, it seems that Delilah might be his toughest adversary yet.

With a Corvo-based trailer out of the way, we’ll undoubtedly see another video drop soon that focuses on Emily Kaldwin and her abilities. The last time we saw footage of Emily’s abilities was at Bethesda’s E3 event. We’re also bound to find out more about the new setting of Karnaca before we dive back into Dishonored 2 in two months' time.

For all of Bethesda's problems, they are putting out some really decent stuff. Not to mention they're actually advertising it all properly. Actual gameplay trailers! None of that pre-rendered bollocks that lead to Battlefront and NMS and countless others being such catastrophic disappointments.

I wonder if the game will still reward you for playing more stealthy and less violent. This trailer is implying otherwise or it is simply a little bit of bait for all the 12 year olds (and 30 year olds who think like 12 year olds) who simply go around loud as hell slicing and dicing their way through the game.

Dishonored is one of my favorite games, if not my favorite. I hope D2 can live up to it's predecessor.

I would assume so, that was a somewhat core feature of the game. It' just that playing full stealth/mercy doesn't make for good gameplay trailers.

Also the reason we have two playable characters (and also a damn good reason to play the game twice) is because the choices the player made in DH1 decided whether Corvo is alive now or not.

I kinda hope we get to see Daud as well in at least one of the play throughs.

It's been a bit since I play DH, probably need to go through it again to get caught up on all the characters. (I thought delilah was dead, but maybe that's only if corvo let daud live)
