Polaroid has announced its 9.7-Inch S9 tablet during the Consumer Electronics Show, 2013.
While details are scarce, Polaroid confirmed it'll feature a 1,024x768-pixel-resolution IPS screen. A launch is currently scheduled for the latter stages of spring, 2013.
The tablet's design sports a red backside that boasts a 5-megapixel camera, with a power button situated above it. Micro-USB and Mini-HDMI ports are also included, as is an expandable memory option via a microSD slot.
Polaroid also announced two Android-powered tablets during CES in the form of the M7 and M10 -- for more on the latter model, head over to our hands-on impressions of the tablet.

10tacle It's not the same company. Polaroid filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy over ten years ago and has changed several holdership/controlling hands ever since. But it wouldn't have mattered anyway, Polaroid, like Kodak, were stuck in old school film mentality and failed to embrace the digital revolution in photography starting in the late 1990s. Ironically, the makers of digital cameras that left Kodak and Polaroid eating their dust are seeing major cuts in their point-and-shoot market now as smart phones get better and better equipped to not only take pictures, but movies.Reply
