SecurityFocus is reporting this morning that a Venezuelan native already convicted for defacing a US Air Force Web site, and who is facing deportation, may be detained in the US as NASA considers whether to press charges against him, for the possible theft of documents relating to next-generation launch vehicles:
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) could attempt to hold Nuñez responsible for sensitive documents allegedly stolen by Rafa in 2002. Rafa allegedly took over 40 MB of data regarding NASA's next-generation launch vehicles from a contractor's computer, according to press reports at the time.
