Three UK Letting Customers Roam Free in USA, Sri Lanka
Roaming with no extra charge.
UK wireless carrier Three has announced plans to offer users free data, texting, and calls while roaming in the United States. This is an extension of the carrier's 'Feel At Home' service that allows customers to use their data, minutes and text allowances while roaming in Europe. Today's expansion will add the USA, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Macau.
"We want customers to get the most out of their devices at home or abroad. High roaming charges stop people [from] enjoying their phones while they're away, and Feel At Home is the antidote to that," said Dave Dyson, CEO of Three. "Adding the USA to the mix is great news for our customers and shows our commitment to giving them the best experience in what is a popular destination. We plan to add more countries to the mix soon."
Three's 'Feel At Home' program now runs in 11 countries around the world. First launched in September, the program kicked off with service in the Republic of Ireland, Australia, Italy, Austria, Hong Kong, Sweden and Denmark. Any customer on bill pay, Pay As You Go, SIM-only, mobile broadband, and business plans can use 'Feel At Home.'

Anaxamenes I think we should just all join Three then! I mean I had T-mobile in London my in iPhone and it only cost me $17 a month. How awesome would it be to just give our mobile providers here the finger!Reply
