Don't believe a word Verizon says.

It sounds like they are going to continue selling all of their customer's location and personal data wholesale. Verizon just wants to be the broker and keep all the profit themselves, instead of letting middle-men get in on the action.

So more of a money grab hidden behind a deliberately misleading PR stunt.

"Verizon Plans to Stop Selling Location Data to Brokers' so it just publicly admitted that it is doing it now. Wow. Only in US. Yankees need US version of GDPR asap.
