Prison Break Game to Launch March 30
Prison Break the video game was first announced last October and now Zootfly/SouthPeak Games' take on the popular TV series has a release date: March 30.
There's still not a lot of information about the game. It's going to be set in season one, when Michael and Lincoln were in Fox River. However, you'll be taking on the role of a Company agent sent to Fox River in order to figure out why a fine, upstanding citizen like Michael got sent to prison in the first place. Don't worry, you'll get to interact with many of the shows characters (more Bellick!!) along the way.
The game will set you back $49.99 on Xbox 360 or PS3, and $39.99 on PC. Hopefully we'll see a demo before launch.

maybe sniping inmates as a guard would be fun
My hand will be firmly gripped on the soap while in the showers.
Graphically looks worse than crysis on linux/wine.
Man, prison sucks. Why would I want to play a game about it?
If this beats Butcher Bay I'll be really surprised.

Soap lanyard is going to be available for those who pre-order.
this game doesn't have a single compelling element. (setting, graphics, interface seems like it may be choppy)
if i want to play a game where i have to sneak and whatnot... i will just play Metal Gear.
Man the series was over all good, I hope the game can compensate for what the series lacked and its general weaknesses.

I hopw soap isn't code for anything
*hope
as a straight guy (like most ppl), i'd be much more interested in a game titled "women's prison break-in" and play as the company agent
I hated the show and I hope the game fails. I think the whole idea behind it is just stupid. There are only 2 options for everything: 1- get caught 2- narrowly escape. (because escaping with ease would be boring, right?)
...maybe i've just been spoiled by Family Guy and its random twists.
Season 1 was great, season 2 only slightly less so. Then they ran of ideas and the show quickly became ludicrous. By season 4 with the stupid Scylla plot, it was painfully bad.
IIRC, they never expected to go beyond season 1, and thats probably why they ran out of ideas so quickly. But S1 was great IMHO.

You're a moron. So you want a game to fail just because you hate the show and think the game sounds stupid? And what does Family Guy have to do with anything? Although that statement tells me everything I need to know about you.
My only complaint would be that they're not exactly striking while the iron is hot. The show has been over for a year, and season 1 happened a long time ago.
