UK Phone Retailer Teaming Up with Kate Moss

There's nothing quite like a celebrity endorsement to shift merchandise, and UK retailer Carphone Warehouse is jumping on board with a new partnership with super model Kate Moss.

The partnership will see Moss design phone and tablet accessories for Carphone Warehouse and, hopefully, create a new category for women called "Fashion Tech." As such, Moss says she's treated it like any other fashion collaboration.

"My phone's as much a part of my look as my bag or shoes, and yet there's so little choice out there," she comments, later adding, "I was heavily involved in the design process and loved seeing my vision come to life in the final product. From the quality of materials to design, I wanted the best for my range that reflected my personal style."

Carphone Warehouse says the full line of accessories will hit shops this coming summer, though it didn't provide much in the way of details on the actual products themselves. Just covers and cases, or are we in for some more interesting accessories? We'll have to wait and see.

I wonder does she actually design the accessories? I'm guessing someone designs everything she just takes a look at it and says it looks fine then they hand her a wheel barrow full of cash to take credit for designing it. Then besides the odd promo shot she wouldn't be caught dead with the product or ever consider using it in her personal life.

Like does anyone believe celebrities ever actually use the cheap crap they shill with there name on it or that they actually design it? Rather than that they use high end alternatives costing thousands if not tens of thousands or even millions of dollars.

Oh, yeah. They have a drugged up anorexic as a spokes person. Well chosen.
