Over the last week, there's been a lot of talk about a gold iPhone 5S. However, if gold isn't your bag, you might like to know that there could also be a gray iPhone 5S. According to photos posted to Sonny Dickson, Apple will also release a gray colored iPhone 5S alongside the usual black, white, and the rumored gold.
Sonny Dickson doesn't say where the images he obtained originated from, but the phone pictured looks identical to the gold version spotted last week. If anything, the silver/gray colored iPhone 5S is more plausible than the gold, given it has the same brushed aluminum styling as the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air lines of laptops.
Other rumored specs for the iPhone include 128 GB of storage, a faster processor, and a larger battery. The iPhone 5S will also probably ship with iOS 7, which Apple introduced at WWDC back in June. The menus and icons in iOS 7 have a flatter, more simplified look, and the platform will also sport improved notifications, smarter multitasking, new camera filters, better photo organization, AirDrop support and more.
If other rumors prove true, the gold iPhone 5S won't be the only new color we see in this year's iPhone line up. Also rumored for a September 10 unveiling is a budget iPhone called the iPhone 5C. This model is thought to have a plastic casing and will apparently come in a range of different colors.
