Mike Rayfield Goes From Nvidia to Vice President at Micron
Michael Rayfield, the former man in charge of Nvidia's mobile business, is now employed by memory maker Micron.
According to a company announcement, Rayfield has been appointed vice president of Micron's Wireless Solutions Group and will oversee the DRAM, PCM, NAND and NOR Flash memory for mobile devices, the publication wrote.
"Micron has the industry's broadest set of innovative memory products. Mike has the direct industry experience, relationships and leadership skill set that will help us leverage this portfolio in serving our mobile customers," said Micron President Mark Adams in a prepared statement.
Rayfield's previous experience in sales and business development at Nvidia and other high-profile companies such as Cisco and Texas Instruments will surely come in handy at Micron to maintain and acquire new customers.

master_chen Didn't expect that. I hope Micron memory controllers become better (they are good, better than friggin' SandForce, but are too slow).Reply
