MiKandi Already Developing "Adult" App for Google Glass
There's already a dark side to Google Glass.
The Register reports that developer MiKandi is currently working on an "adult" app for Google Glass. Co-founder Jennifer McEwan recently told the site during Google I/O that for now it's only for members of the studio to get "familiar" with the technology. Once they become more acquainted with the "hardware," the studio will build it into other applications.
"It's not that Google Glass is just a camera – GoPro and others are already doing really good cameras – but Glass is more than that; it's a pretty awesome communications device," added MiKandi CEO Jesse Adams. "So you don't just use it for viewing content, but also for talking about it and sharing, letting people interact with media in totally new ways."
He also pointed out that Glass could be an instant hit with creators of point-of-view pornography, that adult performers could actually sell a subscription access to feeds from their Glass headsets while they're still on the clock. On a more personal level, couples could enhance their foreplay by sending secret messages to each other throughout the day.
Although MiKandi doesn't offer any apps on Google Play (not locally, at least), the studio provides its own Adult App Store for Android. Potential customers must visit the site from their Android device and side-load the store app. It's full-blown naughtiness too, offering a large number of apps like "boobs-o-meter," YouPorn, The Topless Gym Guide and more. There's seemingly nothing watered down here.
McEwan told the site that it's a common misconception that the porn industry is one of the earliest adopters of new technology. That idea stems from the adult format's wide success in the VHS industry back in the 80s and 90s, and it was notably the "vanguard" of web payments and e-commerce. The notion of porn driving technology isn't quite as big as it once was.
"A lot of companies spent time and money developing mobile apps only to get burned when Apple threw them out of the iTunes store, and now the industry seems split 50/50 on new technology, with a prevailing 'wait and see' attitude," she said.
Google is quite strict with Glass, with rules in place that even prevent owners from lending or re-selling the specs. And although Google Play isn't quite as closed as Apple's App Store, MiKandi and other kinky developers may face a similar Apple-like wall when developing for Google's wearable tech.

Grandmastersexsay POV porn sucks.Reply
It takes the worst part about sex, namely the fact that you can't see anything, and leavs out the best parts. Why are mirrors so popular in the bedroom? Because POV sucks. -
